UCF has style
The methods the University of Central Florida uses to communicate are vital to our reputation. Consistency in the presentation of our ideas is essential for keeping our message clear and understandable. Correctness and style are equally as important to UCF.
But style is often a matter of choice. We’ve put together a style guide to assist you in adhering to our brand standards. While we work primarily with the
Associated Press Stylebook and
Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, we’ve made some choices that are particular to our brand.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, check the Associated Press Stylebook and then Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary. If you’re still at a loss (for words?), contact the UCF Marketing copywriter, Jennifer (JT) Taylor, at
jentaylo@mail.ucf.edu. And please—call me JT.
